Which size to choose?
Don't worry! We know that if it's your first time using these products, you might feel overwhelmed with information. While we usually guide the menstrual cup choice based on your age and number of births, for the disc, we focus more on your vaginal depth and flow amount.
In short:
- Size S: For light to medium flow and/or low cervix.
- Size L: For heavy flow and/or medium to high cervix.
How to know your vaginal depth?
Vaginal depth will indicate how much resting vaginal space you have to determine the best width for your disc, as it is placed horizontally.
To measure it, insert a finger into the vaginal canal until you feel your cervix, which feels like a smooth donut. If you can measure that distance in centimeters, even better!
- Choose the small size from the brand if your vaginal depth is less than 5 cm, as the space between the fornix and the pelvic bone is shorter.
- Choose the large size from the brand if your depth is greater than 5 cm.
- We could also evaluate the flow amount to decide on the large size if it is very heavy.
