Aletse's Menstrual Disc Kit: Everything you need to make the switch to reusable
The Aletse's Menstrual Disc Kit is designed to make your transition to reusable products easier, covering most of the needs we each have. It includes both sizes so you can swap them out according to your flow or anatomy, and always have a backup on hand.
What is a menstrual disc?
The menstrual disc is a comfortable and sustainable alternative for menstrual management. It is made of soft, certified medical silicone and is placed under the cervix, resting on the pelvic bone to collect the flow.
Unlike the menstrual cup, the menstrual disc does not create a vacuum, which makes it especially comfortable and allows for penetrative sex without the risk of leaks. It can be used for any vaginal depth and any amount of flow, from light to heavy.
How do you insert it?
- Fold it in half to make insertion easier. You can use water-based lubricant to help.
- Insert it horizontally, pointing towards your back, until it reaches the end.
- Lift the front part of the disc and position it above the pelvic bone. It will stay in place and collect the flow coming from the cervix.
How do you remove it?
Get into a comfortable position in the shower or on the toilet. With your index finger, locate the front inner edge of the disc, gently pull it, and remove it. Once removed, you can wash it and reinsert it or store it after it dries.
Cleaning and care
As it is an intimate hygiene product, it is important to keep it in optimal condition:
- Before using it for the first time and when storing it: sterilize it by boiling it in water for 2 to 3 minutes, or use our sterilizer in the microwave for the same time.
- During changes: rinse it only with clean water.
- At the end of your period: Use the included brush to clean the edges and ensure there are no residues or stains left behind.
- Always wash your hands Before handling it.
Why choose Aletse’s?

With the kit, you have both sizes available, so you can choose the one that best fits your anatomy or switch them out according to your flow each day.

It was my first experience with these devices. I had never used menstrual cups before. I decided to go for the discs first because they seemed more practical. And I wasn't wrong!! They are AMAZING. Easy to use, clean, and reuse. You just need to practice changing them to avoid leaks. I tried them while exercising and had no leaks at all.
TOTALLY RECOMMENDED

Honestly, I was team menstrual cup until I discovered menstrual discs. They are easy to clean, easy to insert, and don't create suction (which used to give me cramps, so that issue was resolved). Additionally, I've tried them at home, outside, while exercising, swimming, etc., and in all situations, they seem to be the best! I wouldn't switch back 🙂 I haven't had any major leaks and I don't even feel them.

Hi girls, I've been using the menstrual cup for a couple of years and was very happy with it, but since I saw the discs, I was intrigued. They are two different worlds; I thought it would be similar based on my experience with the cup, but it's not. From insertion to removal, the disc is easier to place, although to be honest, I'm still learning how to remove it because I spill everything collected haha, but I've only used it once. The disc is super comfortable and I haven't had any leaks at all, which was something that happened with the cup. Excellent product, highly recommended.

I'm still getting used to it, the first few days I had leaks but that's because I don't know how to use it well. I've been using my menstrual cup for 10 years and decided to switch to the disc; I know I'll love it 💖

I loved the discs! I previously used pads and none of them fit me "well" and I always had leaks. With the discs, it was excellent—no leaks and no discomfort. I recommend them 100%! Plus, they shipped super fast.

I have used the menstrual cup for many years, but now I use the menstrual disc and I feel it is much more effective. Its placement is a bit difficult at first, but nothing that can't be improved with practice.

As a first experience with these devices, specifically the menstrual disc, I suggest that all discs should have a tab for easier removal. But other than that, they are very practical and easy to use.
