Period underwear is an excellent option to replace disposable products and stay comfortable.
Our period underwear prevents liquid from leaking onto your clothes (incontinence or menstruation) in case of an accident. They are designed for heavy flow, and their high-waisted design prevents leaks while sleeping.
What are they made of?
They are made of 95% organic cotton and 5% elastane. On the outside, they feature breathable PUL, 85% Nylon and 15% elastane. These materials prevent leaks from reaching your clothes while being extra absorbent.
How to use
Wear your period underwear for approximately 8 hours. Assess your flow to determine if you need to change it more often.
How to wash your Aletse's period underwear?
Before using them for the first time, wash your period underwear. This will allow the fibers to better absorb menstrual flow.
During frequent use, youcan briefly soak the underwear in water to release most of the menstrual flow.
We recommend washing with cold water always to protect the material and its absorbency; as well as letting it air dry. If using a dryer, set it to the lowest temperature possible.
You should avoid fabric softeners, bleach, and bar soap. Ideally, use liquid soap to wash your period underwear; you don't need much—about 1-2 ml per item.
